Allan Tyrer was a film editor who edited many of the BBC’s most innovative documentaries. He worked on the 1950s’ magazine programme MONITOR, CIVILISATION (1969), I REGRET NOTHING - a biography of Edith Piaf, and COMING OUT IN ‘39, a YESTERDAY’S WITNESS documentary about debutantes.
